Key Responsibilities:
- Design tailor-made electrical, power system, and automated engineered products, with a particular emphasis on:
- DC solar power systems
- Control automation.
- Customised electrical products
- Engage with stakeholders to deliver technical design solutions.
- Develop mechanical and structural engineering designs for various communications equipment and infrastructure.
- Lead product reviews to foster continuous enhancement.
- Tackle technical challenges adeptly.
- Collaborate closely with the mechanical engineering team to integrate electrical designs seamlessly.
- Generate comprehensive project documentation and reports.
- Oversee commissioning, factory inspections, power system modelling, and protection grading studies.
- Create production-oriented drawings using AutoCAD.
- Maintain effective communication with customers and suppliers.
Ideal Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, accredited by the Institute of Engineers Australia.
- Proficient in DC power systems design, with a preference for those experienced in control automation.
- Adept with the MS Office suite.
- Exceptional communication skills, vital for liaising with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, flexible team setting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency is required for security clearance.
