Key Responsibilities:

• Design tailor-made electrical, power system, and automated engineered products, with a particular emphasis on:
  • DC solar power systems
  • Control automation.
  • Customised electrical products
• Engage with stakeholders to deliver technical design solutions.
• Develop mechanical and structural engineering designs for various communications equipment and infrastructure.
• Lead product reviews to foster continuous enhancement.
• Tackle technical challenges adeptly.
• Collaborate closely with the mechanical engineering team to integrate electrical designs seamlessly.
• Generate comprehensive project documentation and reports.
• Oversee commissioning, factory inspections, power system modelling, and protection grading studies.
• Create production-oriented drawings using AutoCAD.
• Maintain effective communication with customers and suppliers.

Ideal Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, accredited by the Institute of Engineers Australia.
• Proficient in DC power systems design, with a preference for those experienced in control automation.
• Adept with the MS Office suite.
• Exceptional communication skills, vital for liaising with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, flexible team setting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency is required for security clearance.
