Full Time Electrical Technician role in Bassendean, Western Australia

About the role:We seek experienced Electricians / Electrical Fitters to join our rapidly growing team in Perth Western Australia.
The successful candidates will be responsible for overhauling low-voltage and high-voltage AC/DC motors, transformers, traction motors, and various electrical rotating equipment. The role will also provide opportunities for site-based installation, commissioning, testing, operations, and maintenance services.
Your key roles will include:
- Electrical Motor and generator experience is preferred for this role.
- Disassembling, inspecting, and reassembling electrical equipment.
- Conducting testing of repaired electrical equipment to ensure functionality.
- Working in a team environment and ensuring positively contributing to ERM's culture and inclusive work environment.
- Attend various sites to conduct repairs, commissioning, testing and maintenance on rotating electrical equipment.
- Desire to learn and further build technical skills working with the ERM's engineering team.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and experience:
- Completion of an electrical fitting apprenticeship or relevant trade qualification
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in overhauling electrical rotating equipment
- Demonstrated experience in fault finding, troubleshooting, and diagnostic testing of electrical equipment
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and drawings
- Knowledge of relevant electrical standards and regulations
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Proven ability to organise and prioritise tasks, be flexible and resourceful, proactive and professional with a high degree of initiative and strong communication skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work unsupervised and be a hands-on team player.

- Experience in the Mining industry (desirable)
