What you Need to join Supercrane:
We are looking for skilled professionals with a trade qualification as Electrical Engineering Technician. Candidates should hold relevant trade qualification in this field.
Being a self motivated team player is essential. Additionally, you are required to have 3 years or more of post trade experience as an overhead crane technician and a clear understanding of Australian Crane standards.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist Electrical Engineers in designing and laying out electrical installations for overhead cranes, including substations, switchgear, and motor control system.
- Prepare detailed drawings, plan, and diagrams for electrical installations and circuitry. Maintain accurate documentation of all designs and modifications.
- Perform routine inspections, testing, and maintenance on electrical systems to ensure compliance with specification and safety standards. This includes calibrating and repairing electrical components.
- Estimate materials costs and quantities required for projects and maintenance activities.
- Assemble, install, and commission electrical components and systems, ensuring they meet operational requirements and regulations.
- Provide technical support for research and experimental programs to innovate and enhance product offerings.
- Install, test, and adjust electrical and mechanical parts.
- Prioritising the health and safety of yourself and others and delivering on quality standards.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in documenting complex electrical systems.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and support complex projects.
- Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and safety standards.
- Certification as an electrical Engineering Technician is preferred.
- Current open C class licence, reliability, punctuality, and a client-focused mindset.
- Possessing EWP, Gantry, and forklift tickets will be a definite advantage.Please note you are required to be an Australian Citizen Permanent Resident and have a the right to work in Australia.
