About the company:
They are an independent, wholly Australian owned, family based company that has been operating since the 1950's. They offer a wide range of services including electrical design and installation to industrial, commercial, mining, construction and government clients throughout Australia.
About the role:
We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join my clients team to work on Commercial and Industrial building upgrade projects ranging from $1M - $5M.
You will ensure a proactive approach is upheld with a client focus at all times.
Key Responsibilities for the role:
- Identifying and building cost estimates by analysing materials and labour
- Analysing schematics to determine brief of materials, labour and resource requirements
- Determining profitability of projects
- Providing viable solutions to increase project profitability
- Maintain and update cost databases and paperwork
Skills and experience:
- An electrical trade or electrical engineering background
- Proven experience in a similar position
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail orientated
