Electrical Estimator - Commercial/Industrial

.About the company:They are an independent, wholly Australian owned, family based company that has been operating since the 1950's. They offer a wide range of services including electrical design and installation to industrial, commercial, mining, construction and government clients throughout Australia.About the role:We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join my clients team to work on Commercial and Industrial building upgrade projects ranging from $1M - $5M.You will ensure a proactive approach is upheld with a client focus at all times.Key Responsibilities for the role:

• Identifying and building cost estimates by analysing materials and labour
• Analysing schematics to determine brief of materials, labour and resource requirements
• Determining profitability of projects
• Providing viable solutions to increase project profitability
• Maintain and update cost databases and paperwork

Skills and experience:

• An electrical trade or electrical engineering background

• Proven experience in a similar position
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Detail orientated
