George Mockler House is our 28-bed home located in Mona Vale NSW. We have an opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our team on a permanent part time basis. The shift times we have available are:
- Monday and Tuesday morning: 6:45am to 3:00pm
- Friday afternoon: 2:30pm to 10.00pm
You will be responsible for providing a high standard of nursing clinical care with an individual, person-centred approach to our residents, and you will provide coaching, supervision and guidance to the personal care team.
To be successful in this role you'll need:
- Completion of tertiary qualifications in nursing, healthcare, or similar (Bachelor of Nursing)
- Current Registered Nurse registration with AHPRA
- Thorough understanding of the Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards
- Demonstrated understanding of AN-ACC assessment processes
- Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of the ageing process, particularly age-related health issues
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Competent using computer systems, including Microsoft Outlook and Excel
