Electrical Fitter - Switchboard Builder

We’re looking for an Electrical Fitter (Switchboard Builder) to join our dynamic workplace.

Quality Energy is an established electrical (energy efficiency and power quality) business with our manufacturing production based in Moorabbin, Victoria. 

We are proudly Australian owned, and our Power Factor Correction systems are proudly manufactured in Australia. We’ve been around for more than 30 years and our products are used by some of Australia’s largest brands. During this time, we’ve fostered a great company culture with a focus on integrity, safety and open communication.  We’re excited for the opportunity to welcome our next team member to join our growing manufacturing department.

We’re looking for a Switchboard Builder to keep our factory running like a well-oiled machine. This person will help drive quality improvement and manufacturing improvement strategies. 

For the right candidate, this is what your day-to-day will look like:

• Assembly of low-voltage power factor correction systems using hand tools and wiring schematics provided. (No PFC experience required)
• Assembly of low-voltage active harmonic filter systems using hand tools and wiring schematics provided. (No AHF experience required)
• Helping manage the accuracy and storage of inventory
• Leading day to day operations of the factory to ensure safety and production targets are met.

Here’s what we require from you:

• Prior experience working for an electrical Switchboard Builder
• Ability to use basic and power hand tools.
• Ability to read and follow wiring schematics
• Keen attention to detail
• Driver’s licence and reliable transport
