Electrical Leading Hand

DRD Group are seeking a skilled Electrical Leading Hand to join our client in installing Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) across Western Australia. This position offers an 8:6 roster, providing an excellent work-life balance and exciting challenges in the renewable energy sector.

• Role Overview:

As an Electrical Leading Hand, you will be responsible for supervising a team of electricians and technicians in the efficient and safe installation of BESS. Your leadership will be crucial in ensuring projects are completed on time and to the highest quality standards.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and coordinate the installation of BESS systems according to project specifications.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality control measures.
• Collaborate with project managers to effectively plan and execute installations.
• Required Qualifications and Skills:
• Electrical trade qualification and relevant certifications.
• Demonstrated experience in leading electrical installation teams.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
