The Honeymoon project is located in South Australia, is fully licensed for exports of up to 3.3mlb and is run by a strong management team which has leveraged off industry experts.
About the Role
We are currently looking for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Supervisor to take on a crucial role in the Honeymoon uranium mine restart project. In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing and organizing Electrical Maintenance activities to ensure the proper functioning of all electrical equipment and systems, promoting safe and efficient plant operation.
The role will be FIFO from Adelaide charter terminal direct to the Honeymoon mine site on an 8:6 roster.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate Electrical Maintenance activities at Honeymoon, ensuring reliable and safe operation of equipment.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance plan for improved reliability and reduced downtime.
- Collaborate with departments to optimize production and minimize disruptions during maintenance.
- Manage a team of Electrical Maintenance technicians, providing guidance and coaching for effective performance.
- Formulate and supervise budgets for Electrical Maintenance, including forecasting and cost control.
- Actively participate in incident investigations and implement corrective actions to maintain a safe working environment.
About You
You will have the following skills, experience and qualifications:
- Australian Electrical Trade Qualification.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Electrical Maintenance, with a preference for candidates with a background in the mining industry.
- Demonstrated leadership and coordination skills in managing Electrical Maintenance teams, ensuring safety, timeliness, and efficiency.
- Proficient in developing and implementing Electrical Maintenance programs and procedures to maximize equipment reliability and availability.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations and policies.
- Collaborate effectively with other departments, such as production and mechanical maintenance, to optimize overall plant performance.
