The Role:
RJE Global are seeking qualified and experienced Electrical Supervisors and Tradespersons for industrial electrical maintenance works within Adelaide and surrounds. Based at our Lonsdale Manufacturing Facility, our maintenance team will attend projects within the Adelaide vicinity, carrying out preventative maintenance tasks for our varying customers.
Required:
- Unrestricted driver’s licence
- A Class Electrical License (South Australia)
- LV Rescue and Resuscitation Certificate (within 12 months)
- First Aid Certificate
- Construction Industry White Card
- Willingness to be part of the 24/7 on-call roster, attending scheduled shutdowns and unscheduled breakdowns as necessary whilst on call
Advantageous:
- Experience in industrial electrical installation and maintenance, including cable support systems and cabling (MV, LV, DC, Control, Fire and Communications)
- Experience in diagnosing electrical faults, malfunctioning machinery and equipment
- High Voltage experience and qualifications – cable terminations & switching
- Experience with PLC control systems
- Experience building and wiring control panels / distribution boards
- Experience with safety control systems and sound knowledge of WHS regulations / practices
- Computing skills – Microsoft Office suite
- High risk work licence – WP, CN, DG, RB, LF, SB
- Safe Work at Heights Qualification
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematic / wiring / SLD diagrams, PID and drawings
- Ability to read and interpret layout and general arrangement drawings
- Fitting and mounting of electrical switchgear, components and wiring into switchboards
- Knowledge of Australian electrical standards and specifications
- Experience in quality assurance - electrical test equipment, testing and verification
- Living within travelling to work distance of Lonsdale, S.A.
