RoadTek Central QLD (Rockhampton) Operations are seeking a high performing and innovative Electrical Mechanic to join the team on a permanent basis.
In the role of Electrical Mechanic, you will be required to install and Maintain the Electrical Infrastructure assets that underpin the safe operation of the Departments Road network.
This includes traffic signals, street lighting, Intelligent Traffic Systems (ITS) and the data networks that connect them, as well as any other associated electrical work in accordance with Departmental standards, in a timely and cost-effective manner.

RoadTek Central Queensland's Electrical Services has a steady program of works ahead which includes ongoing general electrical maintenance of signals, lighting and Intelligent Traffic Systems (ITS) equipment, as well as electrical construction andminor works.

Mandatory requirements:
- Electrical Mechanic with valid Electrical Work Licence.
- Possession of White Card - General Safety Induction for Construction Industry.
- The recommended applicant will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical as part of our selection process for this role.
- As part of the assessment process shortlisted applicants will participate in a skills assessment activity.
- Applicants must possess a current, valid Queensland "C" class driver's licence or equivalent.
- A reasonable amount of travel consistent with industry standards will be required throughout the operational unit and/or the State. You will be entitled to expenses and allowances for such travel.
