The Role
Programmed Industrial Maintenance is currently seeking an Electrical Planner to join our team with our Millicent SA client, where you will be working alongside dedicated professionals.
Successful applicants will have proven electrical planning experience in the FMCG, light and heavy manufacturing industries, display a strong work ethic and a demonstrated commitment to safety.
The successful candidate will demonstrate an enthusiastic approach to pre-start meetings, toolbox talks and initiate safety conversations. You will also be responsible for assuring all delegated assignments are completed within the specified timeframe and recorded in accordance with site specific processes.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Minimum 3 years proven experience in a similar role
- Australian Recognized Trade Certificate (Electrical ‘A’ Grade)
- Demonstrated experience as an industrial electrician
- Previous experience planning and estimating electrical work packs in an operational maintenance environment
- CMMS system experience (SAP highly regarded)
- Instrumentation and PLC programming experience
- Experience in preventative maintenance, fault finding and troubleshooting
- Strong time management and flexible approach to multitasking, with sometimes conflicting priorities in a dynamic working environment
- High Risk License – EWP and LF (Highly Regarded)
- Tertiary Qualifications Cert 3, Cert 4, Diploma in Electrotechnology (Controls, Automation, Instrumentation)
- Intermediate MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access)
- Self-sufficient and able to take the initiative where required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
