Due to continued growth, we are currently seeking an Electrical Project Coordinator to join our existing Electrical team on a hybrid role that will see you working from our CBD Head Office as well as FIFO.
THE ROLE
As an Electrical Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing leadership to our Electrical Projects teams, whilst working on Australia’s largest mining producers and other industrial construction sites. It will include:
- Mentoring of project delivery team in technical and quality requirements
- Manage budgeting, scheduling and execution of project works
- Ensure appropriate allocation of resources to achieve planned outcomes
- Manage the engagement and performance of external contractors and suppliers
- Ensure that all variations to scope and or specifications are approved, documented and claims maximised without adversely affecting the client relationship
- Monitor procurement to ensure work crews have all required plant, equipment and materials required to conduct works correctly
- Ensure all projects are completed in accordance with client and statutory quality and safety requirements
- Conducting regular audits on electrical activities and electrical installing works
- Ensure all electrical statutory notices and certifications are completed, submitted, and recorded in accordance with legislation
- Build, monitor and improve Linkforce electrical specific quality systems
- Monitor, record, analyse and report on performance indicators on a periodic basis
- Utilise, build, and maintain a professional network to increase bid opportunities
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- Unrestricted WA Electricians Licence (electrical fitting licence not acceptable) or Electrical Engineering qualification (accredited in Australia)
- Section 44 with aim to complete Schedule 26 Statutory Supervisor training
- Have minimum of 6 years’ experience in a similar role with strong technical knowledge working in a fixed plant mining or other industrial construction environment
- Experience in completing CMS (Contract Management System) documentation for on-site personnel and equipment
- Experience in a multi-disciplinary environment
- The ability to manage and execute end to end deliverables
- A current Australian Drivers Licence
