About the role
Due to continued growth, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Electrical Project Coordinator. You will be responsible for providing electrical engineering expertise in the design, construction and commissioning of each project and providing ongoing support to projects.
The role
Review and plan projects with the Electrical Project Manager to ensure technical aspects of each job are clear.
Oversee designs and reviewing accordingly
Carry out technical evaluation of tenders and recommend appropriate electrical equipment and solutions.
Provide a focal point for Electrical related technical-based queries from the client or associated sub suppliers.
Liaise with both in-house and external designers and detailers as required for the successful completion of each project.
Assist with purchasing of materials for projects by assessing quantities and completing purchase orders.
Ensure that the quality requirements of the client are adhered to and that company procedures are followed.
What you will bring to the team:
'A' grade electrical licence or bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with extensive field experience.
Experience in a mining construction environment
Experience with takeoffs
Estimating experience desirable
electrical nominee desirable but not essential
