Position: Electrical Safety & Compliance Administrator
Key Responsibilities
Safety and Compliance:
- Develop and update Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS).
- Upload and manage insurances, licenses, SWMS, and Material Safety Data Sheets on Builder Safety Software, including Hammertech.
- Track and book training for staff, including annual CPR/LVR.
- Navigate and disperse information from the NECA portal, including SWMS & safety templates, standards, etc.
- Maintain compliance with client systems, including Cm3.
- Conduct risk assessments and pre-starts, including training and auditing.
- Stay informed on changes in legislation, standards, and codes of practice through:
- Workplace Health and Safety Queensland – Worksafe.qld.gov.au
- Safe Work Australia
- WorkCover Queensland
- NECA Safety
- Master Electricians Australia
- Track and ensure compliance and testing of safety equipment (insulated mats, LVR kits, first aid kits, fire extinguishers).
- Manage notifications and information dissemination within Sharefile, Aconex & Procore.
- Order and print plans through the e-print online portal.
- Develop and track commissioning plans and Greenstar requirements per project specifications.
- Handle document control, maintain revisions, and update templates for test sheets, registers, and company procedures.
- Assist project teams with asset registers and commissioning, including emergency lighting location plans, thermal imaging reports, and passive fire registers.
- Manage employment contracts and onboarding (superannuation, tax, company, and safety induction).
- Set up employees in email, Simpro, and Xero systems.
- Track probation periods.
- Update and maintain the company website using Wordpress and Elementor.
- Administer and control social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn).
- Utilise Photoshop and Illustrator for graphic design, company graphics, templates, and signage.
- Maintain equipment registers and calibrate testing equipment.
- Oversee Simpro backend setup, administration, and scripting.
- Proven experience in Electrical Safety and compliance.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in using safety software and digital tools.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
