Roster: Monday to Friday
Key Responsibilities
- Protection and Fault studies for existing brownfields and new assets
- Arc Flash studies and reports
- Earthing studies
- High Level Technical Support Specialist for integration of decarbonisation systems
- Producing HV Submissions for submission to DMIRS and NSP's
- Development of System Protection Philosophy documents
- Contribution to SLD's development and review
- Mentoring of Vacation Students and Graduate Engineers in Protection related discipline
- (CT) Current Transformer and VT (voltage transformer) sizing
- Demonstratable experience with IEC61850 GOOSE and MMS
- Contributing to detail design reviews involving protection systems
- Preferable experience with SEL Protection relays, Siemens Siprotec protection relays
- Experience with Differential and Zone protection schemes
- Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical)
- Experience with SKM PowerTools and/or DigSilent PowerFactory
- Experience in a similar role
