ABOUT THE ROLE
This role is a Permanent position on a 4:3 roster (Monday-Thursday), DIDO to our Worsley Alumina Refinery, which is a short drive from Collie (15 minutes), Bunbury (45 minutes) and other nearby scenic communities.
As the Electrical Services Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe, cost effective, and productive execution of maintenance and scheduled work activities to support the operations at Worsley Alumina Refinery.
Other key responsibilities include, but aren't limited to:
- Lead a team of maintenance electrical, instrument, HVAC, lift technician and a small projects Team.
- Ensure electrical work is conducted safely by competent electrical personnel in accordance with the relevant standards and operating procedures and relative legislative requirements.
- Delivery of safe outcomes through safety leadership, in-field coaching and application of procedures and policies
- Guide and coach individual team members to build a high performing team.
ABOUT YOU
You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:
- Significant supervisory experience in an electrical maintenance within mining or heavy industry
- Deep knowledge of electrical maintenance activities for industrial equipment including radiation devices, gas appliances and safety systems
- Skilled in communicating and relationship building across departments/teams to ensure minimum disruptions to the plant and production
- Proven ability to develop, coach and mentor employees resulting in improved engagement, performance, efficiency and safety
- Proficient with SAP and Microsoft Office products
Qualifications for this position are:
- Trade Certificate as Electrician and WA unrestricted electrical license
- Currently, or can be appointed, a statutory supervisor under Schedule 26
- Qualifications as Instrument Fitter or Cert IV in Instrumentation, Refrigeration (Desirable)
