Our Opportunity
Work Location: Solomon mine. Fortescue's Solomon mine is located on the traditional lands of the Eastern Guruma and Yindjibarndi people.
Roster: 8 days/6 off - FIFO ex Perth
Reporting to: Senior Mechanical Planner

As an Electrical Shutdown Planner, you will play a crucial role in implementing key work management KPIs for our shutdown execution teams. Your expertise in electrical maintenance within a shutdown environment will be instrumental in ensuring the safety, reliability, and efficiency of our operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement key work management KPIs for the shutdown execution teams.
- Collaborate with various departments to gather information on equipment history, reliability, and maintenance requirements.
- Initiate maintenance strategies in SAP in coordination with long-term and weekly planners.
- Prioritize safety protocols in all shutdown plans, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with up-stream and external suppliers to meet requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance team performance and reduce costs.
- Provide input to maintenance budgeting requirements.
Qualifications and Experience
The successful candidate will have the following attributes
- A grade electrical license
- CMMS experience working with SAP
- Working experience in a shutdown environment focusing on electrical maintenance
- Proficient computer skills using MS Office
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
