Global Food & Wine has been servicing Queensland's top restaurants, cafes and hotels for 50 years with the finest local and international foods and wines. Our Rocklea Distribution Center is the heart where it all happens, international and local inventory arrival through to servicing and distributing to our other DC's across Qld and delivering to Food Service customers around Brisbane. As we continue to grow and leap into utilising new technology, we are looking for a highly skilled Inventory Administrator to support our operations in stock management, administrative tasks, and communication with suppliers and the warehouse team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately input inventory data into the NetSuite system.
- Handle communication between freight suppliers and the warehouse.
- Prepare documentation for international container deliveries.
- Enter supplier invoices and process supplier credits.
- Reconcile accounts related to inventory and freight.
- Process CHEP transfers.
- Assist the purchasing officer/stock controller with stock counts, stock control, and processing returns.
- Provide general support to warehouse operations.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably in a distribution or logistics environment.
- Proficient in using NetSuite or similar ERP systems.
- Strong computer skills and ability to quickly adapt to new software and systems.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Experience with WMS implementation is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
