Electrical Superintendent

Electrical Superintendent Overview:
Randstad is currently working with a global renewable energy leader looking for a dedicated and experienced Electrical Superintendent to join their dynamic team. Position:
As the Superintend you will bring strong electrical installation and commissioning experience. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of projects on-site, adhering to safety standards, timelines, and quality requirements.
Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Coordination:
Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans for nstallation projects.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure alignment with project objectives.
Review project plans, drawings, and specifications to identify potential issues and propose solutions.
On-site Supervision:
Oversee all electrical installation activities related to systems, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
Provide technical guidance and support to the installation team, resolving technical challenges as they arise.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety performance.
Quality Assurance and Testing:
Implement quality control measures to ensure that installations meet project specifications and industry standards.
Coordinate with testing and commissioning teams to verify the performance and functionality of components.
Address any deficiencies or non-conformities identified during testing, ensuring prompt resolution.
Safety Management:
Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations on-site, promoting a culture of safety among all project personnel.
Conduct safety briefings and toolbox talks, identifying and mitigating potential hazards.
Investigate and report any safety incidents or near misses, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Client Communication:
Serve as the primary point of contact for client representatives and stakeholders, providing regular project updates and addressing any concerns or inquiries.
Collaborate with clients to resolve technical issues, manage change requests, and ensure overall satisfaction with project deliverables.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
Proven experience (5+ years) in electrical project management, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
Electrician License
Strong understanding of electrical systems, including AC/DC power distribution, battery technologies, inverters, and control systems.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage project teams and stakeholders.
Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, AutoCAD).
