Position Overview
As a Site Superintendent – Energy Storage and Optimization, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing energy systems and assets, contributing to the advancement of sustainable societies through innovation in technology and services.
You will lead maintenance activities, ensure safety and environmental compliance, and foster a culture of excellence within your team.
Key Responsibilities
• Plan, schedule, organize, direct, and control site and maintenance activities to ensure adherence to schedule, specifications, contract, and budget.
• Prepare progress and monthly reports, issuing progress schedules to all stakeholders.
• Supervise day-to-day field service activities, ensuring quality and consistent customer communications.
• Oversee subcontractors and subordinate staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Prioritize site safety and issue permits to work in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements• Authorization to work in Australia without sponsorship.
• A Class Electrical License.
• Proven track record of motivating and developing employees through effective leadership and communication.
• Proven ability to plan and see 3 weeks in advance
Desired Skills and Experience• Minimum 2-5 years' experience in renewable energy, battery storage, site superintendent, or similar technical operations.
• Exposure to battery storage and renewable energy sites preferred.
• Proficiency in reporting and document building.
• Experience in maintenance coordination and planning.
• Front Line Management Certificate IV preferred.
• HV switching ticket, Ethernet communication cabling, first aid, CPR, LV rescue, installation, and maintenance experience beneficial.
Additional Information• Role may require some interstate travel, overtime, and callouts as needed.
