Utilita Water Solutions is a Joint Venture between Ventia and Downer, and performs planned, corrective and responsive maintenance services on a diverse range of water and wastewater assets across South East Queensland.
Our Electrical scope of work is large and varied and includes electrical and instrumentation preventative maintenance and breakdown repair availability on the water and wastewater infrastructure, across the network. The work is approximately 50/50 split between Electrical & Instrumentation.
About the Role
Reporting to the Program Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for a team of leading hands, tradespeople, and apprentices, servicing a large territory (Northside of Brisbane, out to Esk/ Kilcoy).
The Electrical Supervisor provides day to day co-ordination and supervision of trades and general labour to ensure work order completion, to the appropriate quality standards, within cost and time parameters. Other responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:
- Coordination of schedules, plant and equipment, travel, and materials
- Ensure crew compliance with safety standards and training requirements.
- Administrative tasks – timesheets, scoping documents etc
- Reporting
This role is based at our Eagle Farm depot, Monday to Friday, with some travel to field (within service region) required.

About You
To be considered for this opportunity you will have:
- Supervisory experience
- Cert 3 Instrumentation Trade qualifications preferred.
- Hazardous Areas/ HV experience preferred.
- Experience in an industrial environment, with water/wastewater highly regarded but not essential.
- Hepatitis A&B vaccinations or willingness to obtain.
- Current Driver’s Licence
