An exciting opportunity exists for an Electrical Project Supervisor to support the mining project team.
The Electrical Project Supervisor is responsible for ensuring safe work areas for all employees, contractors, and clients, ensuring a quality product is delivered, and managing all human and material resources required to execute projects.
Our ideal Electrical Project supervisor holds sufficient Electrical experience to be able to oversee all Electrical works in the business unit, with knowledge sufficient to respond to queries, confidently liaise with clients and contractors and provide resolution to employee concerns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring that all activities, systems, equipment, resources do not cause damage to the environment or personnel.
- Ensuring workers comply with legislative requirements, policies and procedures.
- Ensure full understanding of project scope and specifications
- Coordinate site activities and planning with the Head Contractor and or client, subcontractors, external contractors and any other trades or providers engage on the project to allow continuous project delivery
- Execute a full construction programme, including but not limited to Engineering, Offsite manufacturing, Site Works and Commissioning.
- Develop and implement Inspection Test Plans (ITPs)
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of Inspection Test Certificates (ITC) in line with approved ITP’s.
- Maintain the required level of quality as expected from a CE Group installation.
- Manage the deliverables of the project in relation to the MDR, cable schedules, termination sheets and other associated quality items as required under the contract.
- Control the completion and accuracy of Redline drawing submission and production of As-Built Documentation
- Submission and management of all Project based RFI’s
- Establishment and maintenance of labour and material schedule
- Attend all site and/or client meetings as required
- Material take offs, ordering, delivery and site storage as required
- Provide clear direction to site staff, outlining expectations, timeframes, measurables and expected outcomes in daily and weekly task allocation
Our ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
- Unrestricted rights to work in Australia
- Relevant and valid Electrical License
- Post Trade Qualification and/or minimum 5 years relevant experience in a Foreman or Project Supervisor capacity
- Demonstrated competency in MS suite.
- Current Australian Unrestricted Drivers License
- To understand and be able to implement the CE Group Safety Policies, Procedures and Standards.
- Demonstrated ability to work under minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time, people, schedules and programmes
- Demonstrated experience in client communications
