Electrical Supervisor - Wolfpack Hire.
FIFO 2/1 Roster - Immediate Start - Ongoing Work.
Weekly pay - $80.00 per hour flat rate.
Superannuation on 38 hours per week.
Your role will be to ensure the successful delivery of an assigned project with effective utilisation and management of plant & equipment resources. You will manage site based activities, review construction planning and monitor progress to ensure it is on schedule and within quality, time and cost estimates.
The company you will be working with is based in Perth, they are power generation specialists providing turnkey solutions from concept to completion, and are looking for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join their team working on Rio, BHP & FMG sites.
Desirable qualifications:
- Preferably a minimum 5 years Supervisory experience.
- WA ‘A’ Class Electrical License
- High Voltage Operators Accreditation.
- Cert IV in Instrumentation Preferred.
- Schedule 26 and Section 44 certification
- Electrical Nominee Appointed person.
- Certificate IV in Leadership and Management or equivalent preferred.
- Construction induction white card.
- Current Australian ‘C’ class manual Drivers License.
- Proven financial, risk, commercial, contractual and human resource management skills.
- Strong proven qualities of leadership, integrity, loyalty and performance management.
- Proven performance on successful projects with an exemplary safety track record.
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematic drawing and fault-finding control circuits.
- Ability to mentor and lead a team of electricians.
Key electrical duties of this role include:
- Accept statutory appointment as an Electrical Supervisor and ensure compliance with associated statutory responsibilities.
- Supervise and coordinate the electrical activities ensuring productive and quality work outputs.
- Supervise and coordinate regular inspections of electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
- Supervise critical HV and LV electrical maintenance tasks ensuring the work is completed safely and on time.
- Assist, guide and mentor the team as required and provide hands on assistance as required.
- Liaise closely with the superintendent, and process team to prioritise electrical services.
- Assist in work planning, scheduling and resource allocation with a focus on the weekly electrical maintenance plan.
- Understand the monthly process forecast and communicate plant targets with the maintenance team.
- Ensure employees receive adequate training and instruction to perform their work.
- Discharge of obligations under Section 44 of the WA Mines Safety & Inspections Act
- Compliance with WA Mines Safety and Inspections Act and Regulations and Duty of Care.
