The Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Electrical Trade Assistant to join our dynamic maintenance team in Brisbane, QLD. As an Electrical Trade Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Technical Maintenance team in maintaining client assets in the renewable sector.
- As an Electrical Trade Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the assembly, maintenance, and support of our renewable energy systems. From preparing cables to assisting with on-site diagnostics, your expertise will contribute to the maintaining of our Renewable Assets.
- Assist the Technical Specialist with various tasks as directed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Assist in building electrical systems for solar and off-grid power solutions.
- Aid in fault finding and repair of Lidar and solar systems.
- Assist in Lidar diagnostics and module replacement.
- Warehousing – Goods Receiving & Inventory management
- Testing and dispatching of instruments and equipment to be installed on site.
- Bench test equipment returned from site.
- Assist in system diagnosis and repair.
- Perform making up of cabling, cutting of materials to specified lengths as required.
- Manufacture junction boxes and logger boxes.
- Ensure proper labeling and documentation of equipment.
- Maintain records of stock levels and calibration documents.
- Work under supervision to ensure compliance with project requirements
- Aid in setting up and staging daily operations for smooth workflow.
Must have:
- To succeed in this role, it is essential for you to have:
- Previous experience as an Electrical Trade Assistant or similar role preferred.
- Knowledge of basic electrical systems and construction processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
