Your Role
We are now seeking an experienced Electrical and Instrumentation Technician to work as part of a collaborative team.
This role will support the maintenance team at our Laverton North site and play an integrate role in ensuring compliance with all Ixom and site SH&E procedures.
This is role will provide effective maintenance execution to achieve a safe and highly reliable plant, with minimum down time and efficient use of resources.
Your responsibilities
- Complete breakdown maintenance, troubleshooting & support
- Implementation of preventative, predictive and proactive maintenance activities
- Reviewing equipment failure using RCA and suggest improvements
- Compliance with statutory requirements, including MHF regulations
- Responsible for executing testing of MHF/SIS instruments to schedule
- Participate in equipment statutory inspection and testing.
- Identifying and maintaining relationships with materials and service providers
Your skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you will be required to demonstrate the following:
- Have a dual trade qualification as an A grade electrician and Cert IV Instrumentation Technician or equivalent is mandatory
- Proven experience in maintenance of a continuous process plant (ideally, chemical manufacturing)
- Experience in calibration and maintenance of plant instrumentations.
- Experience in computerised maintenance management systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good attention to detail and proven focus on accurate and efficient record keeping
- A quality focus on work activities
