About the Role
Exciting opportunity for an Electrician Instrumentation Technician to join AGL's renewables division based at Mt Beauty. You will be responsible for the Electrical maintenance, Instrumentation and Control activities associated with plant and hydraulic infrastructure of our Hydro Power Stations.
What you'll be doing
- Routine and breakdown maintenance as well as inspection and monitoring of assets.
- Preparing work records and reports to be entered into SAP.
- Receive Access Authorities as requested and progress to Recipient In Charge (RIC).
- Supervise service providers/contractors to ensure work is conducted to an appropriate standard and in a safe manner.
- Ensure that all Health, Safety and Environment systems are adhered to.
- Occasional travel for site testing, investigations and project work.
About You
This opportunity will suit an individual who has a passion for working within the Energy industry and has a keen interest in Electrical systems, continuous improvement and looking to further develop their skills.
What you'll bring to the table
- A-Grade Electrical licence.
- Dual Trade (Instrumentation & Controls) is highly desirable.
- Safety conscious mindset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Well-developed communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Curent driver's license.
