Position Overview: As an Electrical Instrumentation Technician within SCEE, you'll play a vital role in the successful execution of the Mt Keith DeBottleneck project. Your responsibilities will revolve around meticulously installing, calibrating, and pre-commissioning electrical and instrumentation systems critical to the SAG Mill construction. Key Responsibilities: Lead the installation, wiring, and configuration of electrical components and control systems essential for SAG Mill operation at the Mt Keith DeBottleneck project. Calibrate and install various instrumentation systems, including sensors and monitors, ensuring peak performance in line with project requirements. Conduct rigorous testing, troubleshooting, and repairs to guarantee the safety and efficiency of all electrical and instrumentation systems. Collaborate closely with SCEE engineers, contractors, and project managers to meet design specifications and adhere to safety standards. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety protocols throughout all electrical and instrumentation installations. Maintain meticulous documentation, reports, and maintenance schedules, ensuring a comprehensive record for future reference. Requirements: Minimum of 3 years' proven experience as an Electrical Instrumentation Technician within the industrial or mining sector. Proficiency in the installation, calibration, and maintenance of electrical systems, instrumentation, and control systems. Thorough understanding and adherence to industry standards, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance. Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a track record of success in collaborative, fast-paced team environments. No allergic sensitivity to nickel dust. Current Western Australia Electrical License. Certification III or IV in Instrumentation. Possession of a Construction White Card. Valid Working at Heights certification obtained within the last 2 years. High Risk Work License for Elevated Work Platform (EWP). Australian Working Rights must be held.
