We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced Maintenance Electrician to join a family run business in its third generation, located at the foothills of the Victorian Alps where the Murray and Kiewa rivers meet. Ideal for the growing family and everyone who wants to escape the hustle and bustle.
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician who holds a current A Grade Victorian Electrical License.
*For New Zealand applicants, a form 16 would need to be completed along with small fees applicable.

What you need to have:
- Experience in a PLC, SCADA and Power Generation environment
- Experience in Industrial Electrical and Electronic maintenance (a must)
- Flexibility to work alone and/ or with a team
- Outstanding diagnostic capabilities and general maintenance skills
- Relevant Electrical trade qualification (A Grade)
- Experience with control systems, preferred PLC/VSD
- Post Trade qualifications in instrumentation and/or knowledge of the Food Industry is an advantage
- Industrial Refrigeration experience an advantage
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines
Reporting to the Facility Manager, you will be part of our Maintenance Team and responsible for the smooth running of the production floor. Within this role you ensure that all equipment is maintained to the highest standards to avoid downtime.
What you will be doing:
- Understanding and demonstrating a commitment to OH & S
- Responding to breakdown callouts
- Inspecting and testing electrical systems and recommending next steps avoiding costly breakdowns
- Troubleshooting for the newly commissioned production floor
- Electrical upgrades and projects throughout the plant
- Steel fabrication
- Use and care of Pneumatic Systems and Tools
- Ensuring production processes are maintained to minimize downtime
- Performing Preventive Maintenance tasks via CMMS program
- Being an integral member of the shift team roster and available for overtime when required
