The Company
River Sands operates a large dry mortar packing factory spread over a six-hectare site and a sand dredging operation in the adjoining suburb.
Established for over 40 years and located near Loganholme, this family owned business has recently invested in and commissioned a large batching facility feeding two automated multi-head bagging lines incorporating European state of the art equipment. The new plant complements three established lines and a warehouse facility.
We supply a wide range of packaged dry-mix concretes, mortars, sands and screeds to the leading hardware and plumbing chains, concrete plants and landscaping industry.
Key equipment that requires maintenance includes two large rotary dryers, palletisers, automated multi-head bagging units, dredges, pumps, sand screens, mixers, elevators, dust extractors, conveyors, silos and bins.
