Electrician - Industrial

EIF Industries is a well-established company founded in 2016.

We are a very unique business as we have a team of electricians and a team of mechanical trades people here at EIF. The business provides electrical and mechanical support to our customer base.

We are based north of Adelaide in Gawler but we also have a small team south of Adelaide.

Our company is growing and we are seeking a motivated Industrial Electrician who will fit within our dynamic team.

• Food and beverage
• Waste management
• Power generation
• Quarrying
• Fire sector
• Telecommunications
• Grain Storage and Processing
• Concrete and Aggregates

About the role

You will be required to:

• Undertake electrical installation and service work
• Be flexible and undertake wide range of work
• Provide electrical coverage for our clients on varying shifts
• Provide electrical breakdown coverage
• Do away work, where necessary
• Work within a team environment
• Have a can-do attitude and passion for the industry

Skills and experience

• Electrical A -Class license
• Driver's License
• Strong focus on safety
• Can do attitude
• Self motivated
• Proven experience in electrical installation, fault finding and maintenance activities
• Experience in fault finding complex electrical systems and equipment
• Able to read and interpret electrical drawings for fault finding tasks
• Interest in working on and troubleshooting PLC and instrumentation systems - we will help you develop
• Great communication skills with peers and clients
• Understanding of mechanical systems
• Experience with network and communication protocols (Not Required)
• Instrumentation & Control Cert 3 or Cert 4 (Not Required)
• EEHA (Not Required)
• Open Registration License - with appropriate endorsements (Not Required)

During the interview process you will be asked a series of question in regards to your trade knowledge and experience. You also may be asked to perform practical tests.
