The Role
If you are a collaborative and experienced Mill Maintenance Electrician looking for a new challenge, then this role is perfect for you. Based on-site at Kanmantoo Copper Mine, you will be working with a dedicated team of professionals, all striving towards the same goal. Reporting to the Maintenance Electrical Supervisor, you will be ensuring all electrical statutory preventative maintenance is completed. While implementing Electrical, communications, software and hardware diagnosis.
To succeed in this role, we need someone who can work collaboratively with our entire team being strong in communication while being able to review and implement lean value adding processes and procedures, develop Safe Work Instructions.
The Fundamentals
Your expertise in electrical, communications, software, and hardware diagnosis will be highly valued as you ensure that all electrical statutory preventative maintenance is completed, and immediate risks are mitigated. While having a focus on quality, monitor and maintain equipment, improve reliability and availability to maximise utilisation. While being highly adaptable because let’s be honest, there’s a lot to achieve here in this scale-up business!
Essential Minimum Requirements
- Current South Australian Driver’s License
- Trade qualified Certificate III in Electrotechnology
- Licensed A Class Electrician
- HV Switching current competency
- Working at Height
- High Risk Ticket - EWP
- Senior first aid with current CPR and LVR
Desired
Desirables are exactly that! If you have Certificate III in Instrumentation, AUTOCAD, PLC knowledge, SCADA, diagnosis and programming or Certificate IV in Hazardous Areas - fabulous! Any other tickets and licences are an added bonus.
