Work Location: Eliwana – Fortescue’s Eliwana mine is located on the traditional lands of the Puutu Kunti Kurrama people.
Roster: 7D7N14R FIFO ex Perth or Busselton
This is an exciting opportunity open to applicants who have recently completed their Electrical Apprenticeship, as well as those who are experienced.
Reporting to the Electrical Maintenance Supervisor, our Electricians are responsible for the maintenance and servicing of all Ore Processing Facility equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote rigorous compliance to Zero Harm principles ensuring that all works completed are adequately risk assessed with hazards mitigated and controlled
- Ensure all maintenance works are completed to schedule in a timely manner and to a high standard with a focus on continuous improvement practices
- Ensure all necessary maintenance inspections and audits of the site and related facilities are completed within allocated time frames
- Diagnostics and fault finding of all Ore Processing Facility plant
- Statutory testing and inspections
Qualifications and Experience
- Electrical Trade Qualification with a current WA 'A' class Electrical Workers License essential
- Should you be an experienced candidate applying, you must hold proven working knowledge in a Fixed Plant Maintenance environment
- Experience in PLC systems, control communication systems and troubleshooting of Variable Speed Drives desirable
- HV Switching and Instrumentation experience highly desirable however, not essential
- Competent understanding of electrical schematics, isolation and permitting systems
