Position Summary

Electrician | The Wesley Hospital

  • Employment Term: Permanent, Full-Time 
  • Location: Auchenflower, just 5 mins from Toowong Shopping Village and 10 mins from Brisbane City
  • Remuneration: $38.47 p/h + 11% Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging + Penalties & Allowances

Your part in The Wesley Hospital team

As an Electrician at The Wesley Hospital you will be responsible for providing a responsive, high quality, effective and efficient electrical service.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Maintenance, repair, installation and monitoring of electrical equipment and systems
  • Fault diagnosis and repair of lighting, air conditioning, refrigeration, and sundry equipment
  • Monitor the operation of all hospital serviced/systems
  • Inspect, test, tag and register equipment, ensuring safe to operate or use
  • Plan, progress and document maintenance activities via the computer-based maintenance system

What makes a difference for us?

Essential

  • Certificate of competent as an Electrical Fitter/Mechanic
  • Minimum 5 years post trade experience
  • Intermediate computer skills

Desirable

  • Experience with air conditioning and/or refrigeration plant and equipment
  • Certificate in Industrial Electronics
  • ACMA Licence
  • General Contractors Licence
