TasPorts is a state-owned company responsible for eleven Tasmanian ports and the Devonport Airport. We are a vertically integrated organisation, providing a diverse range of port and marine operations and services around Tasmania. With 99% of the State’s freight moving through our multi-port system, TasPorts’ facilitates vital trade to enable industry partners and communities while ensuring the highest environmental and safety standards.
The role
We are seeking a competent, experienced, pro-active individual with high quality electrical trade expertise to install, maintain, repair and replace electrical systems and equipment for the improvement and safety of TasPorts ports and operations.
What you need
To achieve success in this role, you will be a qualified electrical tradesperson with experience in domestic, commercial and industrial environments with exceptional awareness and understating of health, safety and environment procedures and processes, preferably in a marine or ports environment. You will have well developed written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate with key stakeholders at all levels.
