GTS is seeking an experienced Electrician to join our team in Canning Vale as part of the Special Projects team. This permanent, full-time position is mainly servicing our commercial and industrial clients. As an Electrician at GTS, you will be responsible for a range of tasks including, but not limited to:

- Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.

- Ensuring that work is in accordance with relevant codes.

- Inspecting electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards and defects.

- Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical issues.

- Reading technical drawings

- Collaborating with project managers, other team members and client representatives to ensure successful project completion.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. A valid electrician's license and relevant qualifications are essential. Ability to work as a team but also autonomously

Willingness to travel to sites out of Perth for works that require you to be away from home

Proven experience as an electrician

Thorough knowledge of electrical systems and wiring regulations

Experience with industrial and commercial electrical installations

Ability to read technical drawings

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Relevant electrical qualifications (A Grade Electrical Workers License, White Card, HRWL, FA/CPR/LVR, Current and Valid WA Drivers License - manual preferred, HR Drivers License desirable

Understanding of health and safety regulations in the electrical industry
