Details: We have an exciting opportunity for a Learning and Development professional to join our team. Reporting to the Director, Culture and Learning, your role is pivotal to the success of our team and what we do. The Assistant Director, Learning and Development manages the design and delivery of a range of Learning and Development focussed programs to build and strengthen organisational capability, with a focus on working safely, across the Directorate. The role will lead a small team responsible for the design, development and implementation of Learning and Development outcomes for TCCS. This includes strategies and initiatives aligned to our business priorities including the People Strategy, Diversity and Inclusion Strategy, Reconciliation Action Plan and Learning and Development Strategy.
This is an opportunity to apply your people and program management skills to lead our Learning and Development team to build organisational capability and support a safe, inclusive workplace. You will play a key role in building the capability of staff across the directorate by providing advice, implementing leading the program of works, designing, and delivering learning programs and analysing learning needs that provide the foundation for a positive culture across the organisation.
This position requires a leader with a strong, considered, and engaging people focus to successfully deliver and drive a culture of respect and a desire to achieve customer service excellence. The ideal candidate will possess an innate ability to draw on the right skills, align team performance, develop capacity to achieve organisational objectives and model commitment to continual Learning and encourage ongoing development.
