A BIG PART OF THE ROLE IS:
- Providing quality training and assessment to our apprentices/students from our Yatala location
- Help communicate with our apprentices and their employers so that they keep up with eprofiling and maintain progression
- Contribute to the success of the wider team by assisting in developing our workshop, resources, and processes
YOUR ROLE:
The apprentices look to their Trainer as a role-model and a mentor. In order to support the apprentices, you will be a great communicator and have some spark about you to ensure you can deliver the course information in a dynamic and engaging manner. You will enjoy problem solving and dealing with diverse people.
Successful trainers know that planning is absolutely critical when it comes to running quality courses and we are sure you will tick the correct boxes for time management skills and having an eye for detail; And there are bonus points for having the ability to put the apprentices at ease and nurture their learning. It will be crucial that you will be able to empower apprentices to unlock their potential and build their confidence, skills, and knowledge required to deal with the diverse challenges that this industry provides.
So you have the skills, great! But do you have the qualifications?
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
- TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- UEE30811 Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician (or equivalent)
- 4 years min demonstrated Industry work history
