About This Role
We are looking for talented, enthusiastic and suitably qualified Electronics Assembler/Avionics Technician to join our team. We require a motivated person who can work with little supervision in a dynamic and regulated environment. You must have an eye for detail and always be sure you can provide a 100% defect free quality product. Exceptional hand soldering skills is a must.
We have multiple positions available with an immediate start for the right person.
The position responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Perform hand soldering on circuit boards, wring, assembly and testing work for our various in-house designed electronic assemblies
- Assemble and test various cables and harnesses.
- Be able to perform inspections as required under an AS9100 quality management environment.
- Great attention to detail and ensuring compliance to drawing/manufacturing requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Undertake training as required. We provide training to IPC-A-610/620 and J-STD-001 Soldering.
Pre-requisites:
- Minimum 5 years experience in an electronics environment.
- Suitable qualifications in electronics manufacture and harness assembly.
- Excellent and proven hand soldering skills including SMT components
- Computer literate for testing and loading software.
- Trade qualifications or similar experience
- Knowledge of IPC-A-610/620 and J-STD-001 (prior training would be a significant advantage).
- Training as a Radio/Avionics Technician would be an advantage.
