Electronic Collections Officers (ICAC24/002)

The Electronic Collections Officer is responsible for operating systems associated with processing information obtained by telecommunications interception and electronic surveillance and providing information to support investigators and operatives.
There are 2 permanent positions available – one full time position and one part time position (17 ½ hours per week). You will be paid a competitive annual salary of $86,103 - $95,465 (ICAC Officer Grade 2) or the pro rata equivalent of $43,051.50 - $47,732.50, plus employer’s contribution to superannuation (currently 11%) and annual leave loading.

A Talent Pool may be created for future permanent or temporary positions and is valid for a period for up to 18 months.

Who we are
The Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) was established in 1988 as an independent organisation to protect the public interest, prevent breaches of public trust and guide the conduct of public officials in the NSW public sector. We are committed to:

- Preventing corruption through advice and assistance
- Educating the NSW community and public sector about corruption and its effects.

Please Note:
To be eligible to apply for this position you must be:
- an Australian citizen; or
- a permanent Australian resident.
- Ability to identify and evaluate specific information within large quantities, to determine degrees of relevance so that the Commission can react in a timely manner to that information.
- Knowledge of and ability to understand investigative techniques and the scope and value of intelligence to an investigation and to effectively apply monitoring and processing techniques.
- Well-developed decision making and prioritisation skills, problem solving and analytical skills, work well in a team, communicate effectively with people of diverse background, occupation, and seniority, both internal and external to the Commission.
- The position holder will need to undertake a probity assessment to establish reliability, trustworthiness, integrity and suitability of employment.
