As part of the Freightways Ltd group of companies, SHRED-X is a fast paced and rapidly growing company providing complete secure destruction services for paper, electronic, product, and textile waste, diverting over 95% of processed waste away from landfill into sustainable initiatives.
We are looking for someone to join our ITAD & e-waste team in Warragamba, NSW.
Role Responsibilities:
- Ensure Health & Safety standards are adhered to, ensuring Safety is our Top Priority
- Receive and record materials using ERP software
- Sorting & dismantling of e-waste for commodity types
- Operate battery powered & compressed air tools
- Operate mechanical lifting & loading plant as required i.e. forklift (if licensed), electric & manual pallet jacks.
- Follow instructions from the Operations Supervisor.
To be considered for this role, you must be able to demonstrate the following:
- Valid Driver's License and own reliable car preferred due to limited public transport
- Previous working experience in a similar role
- Great physical stamina and manual dexterity - need to be physically fit as manual handling is required
- Be able to work autonomously and independently
- Good organisational and time-management skills
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Problem solver.
