The RoleWe are seeking a talented and experienced Golf Operations Manager to oversee the golf activities of our multi-faceted Golf, Hospitality and Entertainment venue, Swing Factory – Terrey Hills, in Sydney’s North Shore. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, a strong leader and have a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. Reporting directly to the Venue Manager they will be responsible for all golf activities while assisting in all other day to day venue operations. This position requires a dynamic individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the growth and success of the company.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and supervise venue staff across Golf Operations which includes golf reception, driving range and mini golf areas.
- Employee rostering for Golf Operations.
- Organise and manage all golf related timesheets, bookings and payments.
- Organise and manage all golf hire equipment (club hire, putters, balls & golf retail).
- Manage all Golf Operations technology (Swiftpos, Range Servant, YGB and Top Tracer).
- Manage all golf facilities, assets and environments to continually deliver high quality experiences for customers.
- Provide all-round resource support across all areas of the operations to the Venue Manager.
- Play a leadership role to achieve high quality customer experiences.

- Hold current certifications in Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA), Food Safety Supervisor, and Food Handling.
- Prior management experience in Golf Operations, entertainment or hospitality operations is essential.
- Advanced understanding of the game of golf.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations including responsible service of alcohol.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
