Our Northern Territory based client is looking for an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Trainer to contribute to the development of training materials, end user support and promotional materials with a focus on clinical workflow application. This will include a blended approach of both online and instructor led training.
Key Duties:
- Co-design training content to be developed for end-user online training and instructor-led training, including end user support and promotional materials ensuring clinical focus and workflow application where appropriate, using future state business process maps and change impact assessments to inform training content.
- Deliver clinical information systems training applying a blended approach in a variety of contexts including one-on-one, small group and large group forums, following a facilitator guide, in line with agreed training delivery processes and standards, implementation plans and schedules.
- Lead continual process improvement by assessing training effectiveness to ensure the desired training quality standards are met and assist with preparation and analysis of training progress and summarise findings for team management.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with a wide range of people including project sponsors, senior managers, stakeholders/clients, other project team members, external agencies and vendors.
- Provide go-live implementation training and support across the Northern Territory for the implementation phases, including out-of-hours training and rostered support to meet the agreed support requirements of the Program.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Substantial relevant experience in clinical or professional service delivery in a community service or health care setting.
- Demonstrated knowledge of commonly used software tools required for online training development.
- Highly developed communication, interpersonal, negotiation and collaboration skills with ability to interact effectively with people from diverse cultures.
- Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure, remain agile in a fast-paced working environment and effectively manage competing priorities while achieving required objectives.
- A current Northern Territory driver’s licence or ability to obtain, a preparedness to travel and spend periods of time away from Darwin and to work rostered and non-standard working hours as required.
The successful candidate must be prepared to live and work in Darwin for the duration of the contract.
