Electronic Security Technician And Data & Fibre Optic Technician

Due to accelerated, strong growth and the winning of key projects across Perth, Consult Secure Services are seeking an experienced Electronic Security Technician and Data& Fibre Optic Technician to join our talented team.  A team that has an exceptional reputation in the industry.

CSS designs, installs, and maintains complete Electronic Security systems, Access Control, Intercom, MATV and Communication systems, including structured cabling Fibre Optic installation services for our customers across the construction, mining and resources, health care, education, local government, aged care and commercial sectors.

Electronic Security Technician

Duties:

• Provide high level technical advice.
• Liaise and work with other trades on site.
• Provide advice and recommendations for estimates.
• Deliver end to end installations.
• Fault find on complex integrated security systems.

Requirements:

• Security License
• A vast understanding of preventative maintenance and repairs on Access control, CCTV and Alarm systems
• Gallagher or Inner Range Certified
• Proven experience installing and programming systems
• Understand fault finding and corrective action
• Have extensive IP network knowledge

Data & Fibre Optic Technician

Duties:

• General fibre and Data cabling 
• Fibre cable jointing and splicing
• OTDR & Insertion loss testing
• Rack installation and wiring, including DC power and copper cabling

Requirements:

• National Police Check
• Cablers License with endorsements in structured cabling and fibre terminations and testing
• Understand fault finding and corrective action

Basic requirements for both positions:

• WA Driver's License
• White Card
• Proven experience in a similar role
• Proven track record working unsupervised with attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
