As an Electronic Security Technician you will:
- Install and program Electronic Security systems, including CCTV and access control software, to ensure reliable and efficient operation.
- Upgrade Electronic Security systems to meet the latest technological standards and industry best practices, with a focus on IT and networking principles
- Troubleshoot and repair Electronic Security systems and associated components, using your experience and skills to identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively
- Conduct site surveys and assessments to determine system needs and requirements, and recommend appropriate solutions to meet client needs.
- Ensure all work is completed to high standards of quality and in compliance with applicable codes, regulations and company policies, with an emphasis on security protocols
- Provide excellent customer service and support to clients, and represent our company in a professional and courteous manner at all times
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the Electronic Security industry or relevant IT sector, with a proven track record of success in system upgrades, high-level integrations, and networking principles.
- Experience in high-level integrations of CCTV and access control software, and knowledge of operating systems, networking protocols, and software.
- Familiarity with Electronic Security systems, such as Gallagher, Integriti, Milestone, Guetebruck, Indigovision, Jacques etc.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions, while also demonstrating initiative and creativity in problem-solving.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a customer-focused mindset and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation, with the flexibility to travel to different sites as needed.
