SalaryAre you an experienced Electronic Technician with sound knowledge of Radar systems within a Defence environment? We are currently seeking applications from experienced Electronic Technicians who have a strong understanding of radar technology to join a dynamic team based in Canberra. In this role you will act as the subject matter expert for Radar maintenance and fault management.
Applicants will require hands on Radar maintenance experience within a Defence environment and have a strong understanding of planned/corrective maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Conduct planned maintenance on Radar equipment / systems
- Conduct corrective maintenance on Radar equipment / systems
- Conduct specialised electronic fault finding activities
- Conduct software integration
- Maintain records of fault finding activities
- Oversee the documentation of configuration control of radar systems
- Maintain test equipment
Required Skills & Experience
- Cert III in electronics/electrical trade profession
- Proven experience in planned/corrective maintenance
- Strong experience in electronic fault finding
- Experience working within a Defence environment
- Ability to travel interstate
- Experience with C2 and software integration activities
- Current NV1 security clearance
Applicants must be Australian Citizen's eligible for a Defence clearance and meet ITAR requirements
