Full-time position for an Electronic/Mechanical Instrument Trades Worker is available in Bohle 4818, QLD
REQUIRED SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS
You are required to have at least a relevant AQF (or equivalent) Certificate IV or above and at least 2 years of relevant work experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Electronic/Mechanical Instrument Trades Worker is responsible for completing, installing, modifying, maintaining, and repairing electronic instruments and control systems in both workshop and on-site projects.
REPORTING:
Reports to the Workshop Supervisor.
POSITION DUTIES:
- Install, configure, and calibrate electro-mechanical instruments and control systems.
- Perform routine maintenance on electro-mechanical components to ensure proper system operations.
- Troubleshoot and repair electro-mechanical faults including sensors, controllers, and other related devices.
- Ability to work safely and efficiently in a team, and on your own when required.
- Sound knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety Procedures.
- Strong understanding of electro-mechanical circuitry, digital controls, and pneumatics.
- Ability to read and understand technical manuals and schematics.
- Read and interpret drawings.
- Completing works to specified drawings.
- Keep detailed records of all maintenance, repair, and installation activities performed.
- Fitting techniques.
- Undertake electro-Mechanical instrument trade maintenance in the workshop and on sites.
- Perform assigned duties in a timely and safe manner.
- Ensure all work is carried out to quality and specification requirements and that any documentation is completed on time.
- Ensure safe operating and procedural manuals are adhered to.
- Ensure that the workshop, tools, and equipment under the control of the employee are well maintained and in good operational condition.
- Participate in all Pre-Starts, Toolbox Talks, JSA’s and other Safety related activities.
- Refresh and complete all relevant training, required for site and workshop works.
- Understand, acknowledge and support EDMS Safety, Health, Environment and Community Policies.
- Be safety conscious and demonstrate safe behaviour at all times; comply with site standards and procedures.
- Promote awareness of SHEC practices.
- Report all SHEC incidents.
- Conduct themselves in a professional manner, both in behaviour and personal appearance.
- Exhibit good time management.
- Behave ethically and satisfy the long-term interests of the company and its personnel.
- Maintain a high degree of vigilance over safety, both in their personal conduct and in the context of fabrication.

Annual salary of $70,000 - $80,000 based on experience.
