Key Accountabilites

As a Groundskeeper with Sundale, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our outdoor spaces are well-kept and visually appealing.
Your responsibilities will include:

• Mowing lawns, trimming edges, and maintaining turf areas
• Planting, watering, and caring for flowers, shrubs, and trees
• Weed control and ensuring beds are free of debris
• Operating and maintaining landscaping equipment and tools
• Keeping pathways, parking lots, and outdoor common areas clean and tidy
• Collaborating with the facilities team to ensure all grounds-related tasks are completed efficiently

Essential Requirements

• Police Check
• Pre-employment medical assessment

Qualifications 

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications:

• Previous experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or a related field preferred
• Knowledge of plant species, care techniques, and landscaping best practices
• Ability to operate landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and irrigation systems
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to excellence in all tasks
• Physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• A passion for creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces
