HunterNet Career Connections, in partnership with our host company are seeking an Electronics Apprentice to join the team in Cardiff. This is an exciting opportunity for a school leaver or someone looking for a career change to complete the Certificate III Electronics and Communications whilst working full-time.
Our host company is a nationally recognised and reputable electronics company that repair and sell electronics, particularly mobile phones. We are looking for the right candidate that is capable of working in a fast-paced environment when busy, but has the ability to take initiative and keep busy during quieter periods.
Working under close supervision from experienced technicians, the apprentice will perform a variety of technical maintenance and repair activities on a range of different brands and devices. Activities may include: installing software, setup, test and troubleshoot, repair and modify and maintenance. You will also gain manufacturer accreditation from Samsung, Nokia and Motorola.

As an Apprentice your main duties will include:
- Fault finding and fixing faults with mobile phones and installs
- Working towards the KPI's of the business
- Work in line with maintenance schedules with current servicing requirements
- Reporting to the service manager
- Follow all WHS policies and procedures
- Complete TAFE competencies as required
- Such other responsibilities as are appropriate from time to time as directed by Management
