We are currently seeking an ELECTRONICS DESIGN ENGINEER / MECHATRONICS ENGINEER to join our Engineering team.
About you:
This is a newly created role and would suit an Electronics Design Engineer / Mechatronics Engineer with extensive experience to design and develop new products for the Australian and International markets.
Preferably, the candidate has proven experiences in the electronics manufacturing sector such as Access Controls System, Robotics Automation, Automotive industry and is capable of working independently and within a team of Engineers on emerging technologies and to further improve our existing product range. Robotics Automation experience is preferred but not essential.
The candidate must possess sound knowledge and hands on experience with the design of circuit boards, PCB, PCBA, electronic components, Firmware and capable to develop test Jigs and fixtures etc.
Essential to this role:
- Ideally 7+ years of proven experience.
- Product Design & Electronics Manufacturing experience a must.
- CAD & Electronics Design Software experience a must.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to liaise with senior management.
- Work independently and within a team to achieve company objectives, goals and timelines.
- Strong organisational and communication (both written and oral) skills.
- Strong documentation skills and be organised with tools and equipment.
- High attention to detail and adhere to company systems and procedures.
